Pallasvuo's first book, Scorched Earth, was published by Arcadia Missa in 2015.
Jorge Satorre (1979, Mexico City) The narrative possibilities of drawing allow him to make the objective register coexist with elements of fiction, understanding this relationship as an oscillation of scales between the individual and subjective and the general or hegemonic versions. Some places where he has presented his work individually are: Redcat, Los Angeles. Tamayo Museum. Labor Gallery. Artspace, Auckland. Le Grand Café, St-Nazaire, France. FormContent, London.
Rita Ponce de Léon “I was born in Lima, Peru, 1982. I live in Mexico City. I get involved in situations that allow, through artistic and learning processes, the generation of frank human ties, even if they are ephemeral, for which the intuitive encounters that the body allows have been useful to me. I decant this diversity of experiences in drawing, as a way to get to know my particular thoughts and share them with others.”
Wendy Cabrera Rubio (Mexico City, 1993) works mainly with the discursiveness of scientific stories, as well as its consequences on the economy, industry and aesthetics. She has a particular interest in research, insertion in specific communities and collaboration with third parties. Her projects are carried out in different media such as installation, video and didactic theater. She completed her undergraduate studies at the ENPEG La Esmeralda and later entered the SOMA Educational Program. Her work has been presented at the MUCA, Karen Huber Gallery, Biquini Wax EPS, Ex-Teresa Arte Actual and the National College. Garuz is interested in finding a new relationship with space, concentrating on the shape and properties of materials.
Víctor del Moral (Mexico City, 1987) is a textual artist who lives and works in Mexico. His work moves between words, installation and performance. It explores identity as a negotiation between language and landscape; he uses the materiality of the word, orality and matter to translate the text into its texture, and thus explore it in its graphic, sculptural, choreographic and sound dimensions. He has done residencies and exhibited his work in France, Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador, among others. He has been a beneficiary of programs such as Young Creators of Fonca and the Emerging Artist Award of the Cisneros Foundation.
Jean-Luc Moulène was born in Reims in France in 1955, and studied the aesthetics and science of art in Paris, where he still lives and works. He made his name in the 1990s with a series of photographs of objects, portrayed in a cold and impersonal way. Since the end of the 1990s, Moulène’s practice has explored different means of expression, like sculpture, drawing and installation. His art reflects on the social status of the artist: he is staunchly critical of seductive and beautifying representations, and explores the opposite, often ironically. When asked what are the characteristic elements of his work, he says: ‘absurd evidence, horrible revelation, a burst of laughter…’
He participated in the 2003 Venice Biennale, the 2002 Sao Paolo Biennale and Documenta in 1997. Numerous international institutions have dedicated exhibitions to him, among them the Centre d’Art Contemporain de Genève (2003), the Louvre Museum (2005), Culturgest in Lisbona (2007), Dia:Beacon in New York (2011), the Kunstverein in Hannover (2015) and the Centre Pompidou in Paris (2016).

In 2017, she presented a monumental digital video installation, titled Relentless Tenderness, at the new World Trade Center. Pozanti lives and works in Los Angeles.
Anika Schwarzlose (1982, Berlin, DE) is a visual artist based in Amsterdam. She studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and the Konsthögskolan i Malmö, Sweden. With degrees in photography and Fine Art she often engages processes of image creation and mediation not only as means but as subject to her work. She works across a range of different media, investigating the structures and methods we invent to organize the world around us, by re-contextualizing sometimes personal, sometimes political-historical events.
Her work is exhibited internationally in spaces such as FOAM (Amsterdam), Fotomuseum (Winterthur), WKV (Stuttgart), Bemis Art Center (Omaha, Nebraska), W139 (Amsterdam), Gallery Format (Malmö), Nicolai Wallner (Copenhagen), V Art Center (Shanghai). These works are produced based on an original technique by the artist, mixing natural and industrial techniques. Through his tapestries/ paintings, Yann Gerstberger builds a vernacular vocabulary by making references to Jodorowsky's panic fables, the fantasy of the tropical seen from Europe, post-graffiti and the history of abstraction, with its repertoire of ambiguous and mystical forms.
James Beckett’s (1977, Capetown, South Africa) work in diverse media explores subjects of an historical nature – including the development (and subsequent demise) of European industry, and various systems of display, ranging from the scientific to the cultural. The outcomes of these investigations entertain the peculiarity of human behaviour.
Drawing from word games’ ability to reveal properties of language Marianne Vierø creates nonsensical rebuses in the form of installation, sculpture and print. Like with traditional rebuses the various elements of her work subtract or add to the value of one another leaving the original meaning nullified while another emerges from the sum of all. In this synthesis of values Vierø shifts the balance between material, method and form to construct a visual vocabulary rich with precarious alliances that transcends traditional boundaries of categorization.
Marianne Vierø (1979, Copenhagen, DK) has been a resident artist at Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam; Triangle Arts Association in NYC; and Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin. Recent solo shows include Dunk at Ellen de Bruijne Projects, Amsterdam (2017); Coat Concave at die Raum, Berlin (2017); and Glyph at 427, Riga (2015). Diego Salvador Rios (Mexico City, 1988) is an artist and researcher. The works of Carl Johan Högberg (1979, Sweden, SE/NL) acquire their meaning from the means by which he shuffles and reassembles individual components, re-contextualizing the source material to generate new connections and relationships – reminding us that there are countless ways to interpret a story, a legend or, for that matter, a painting.

Carla is Mexican born, grew up in New York and has a Bachelors in Arts and Graphic Design from Central St. Martins in London. The extra limbs remain, hidden.

Ceel Mogami de Haas (1982, Selebi Phikwe, Botswana). “I grew up on a farm in central France where my parents, my brothers and I steadily developed a fondness for land and culture. Surrounded for 20 years by 200 goats that we milked two times a day, we trained our imagination intensively. Now, through performances, ensembles, poetry, music and other reticular counter systems, I pursue my experiments with works that tend to form clouds of hieroglyphic narratives. In other words I work hard to build and share models of edited abstractions.”
Johann Martin Kauth (1984, Flensburg, Germany) is an artist and musician living in Belgium. He holds a bachelor of Graphic Design from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and is currently finishing a masters degree in printmaking at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. He is interested in the intersections between contemporary art and other disciplines such as literature, contemporary dance and cinema. In recent years he has developed various archival exhibitions, and it is what guides his thinking for now. Think of curatorial practice as a field full of uncertainties, questions and contradictions never resolved.
Esteban Baladro was born in 2015 as a result of after-dinner conversations about the arts in Mexico City. Through images on social networks, his comments try to reproduce the generalized opinions of a small and apparently comfortable sector of the city. Without wishing to point beyond the visible exercise of artistic practice, Baladro believes he could embody a new type of critic, one that spreads under the format of the meme.
Caniche #4 was produced thanks to the support of the French Embassy in Mexico, IFAL and the Casa de Francia.
