Through different kinds of prac­tices, the ar­tists would share a RETI­CU­LAR SENSE of com­po­sition and in some cases, evi­dent steps towards the graphic novel for the ex­plo­ration of topics such as dreams, the future, the MA­YAN CO­DICES, the body, the do­mes­tic space, every­day life and the anxiety of living today.

For the first edi­tion, curator EVA POSAS pro­posed a show titled UNBUIL­DING STORIES, which opened on MARCH 21st 2019 in Casa de Francia in Mexico City.

UNBUIL­DING STORIES pre­sented works of Jaakko Pallasvuo, Lorena Ancona, Gabriel Rosas Aleman, Maria Vez, Ceel Mogami de Haas and Antoine Marchalot.

CANICHE IN SPACE: Unbuilding Stories was produced thanks to the French Embassy in Mexico, the IFAL and the CASA DE FRANCIA in Mexico City.
